Preregistration for the World Hockey Championships 2025 ended in August 2024. Currently, all the spots for the 2025 tournament are taken. We will post available spots from mid-October onwards. If you have questions, please contact us at

INDIVIDUALS
We are very happy to welcome individual players to the World Hockey Championships 2025 in Innsbruck. Individual players will be assigned to teams that need additional players at the latest one month before the tournament starts. Registration for the WHC 2025 has begun. Please follow the instructions when registering.
Please note that this registration above is only for players and their supporters coming from Europe. For the registration of North American players please visit the Tournament Application at the European Sports Travel US homepage.

General Terms and Conditions
1. General Provisions and Definitions
1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”) govern the legal relationship between the event organizer (“Organizer”) and the participant (“Customer”) for the World Hockey Championships in Innsbruck (“Event”).

2. Registration Purchase and Contract Formation
2.1 By purchasing the right to participate in the tournament (registration), the Customer enters into a binding agreement with the Organizer.
2.2 Registrations are only valid if purchased through official sales channels authorized by the Organizer.
2.3 The resale of registrations for commercial purposes without the Organizer’s explicit written consent is prohibited.
4. Cancellation Rights and Refunds
4.1 Following Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply as this event provides leisure activities on specific dates.
4.2 Event Cancellation:
• Full refund if the event is cancelled by the Organizer
• Refund process will be initiated within 14 days of cancellation announcement
• Service fees may be non-refundable
4.3 Force Majeure:
• The Organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control
• This includes but is not limited to: natural disasters, governmental actions, pandemics, or security concerns
5. Entry and Attendance
5.1 Entry Requirements:
• Valid registraytion must be presented
• Random security checks may be conducted
• Right to refuse entry reserved for security reasons
5.2 Prohibited Items:
• Weapons or dangerous objects
• Laser pointers
• Any items deemed dangerous by security personnel
5.3 Code of Conduct:
• Respectful behavior towards all attendees, athletes, and staff
• Compliance with venue rules and safety instructions
• No discriminatory, racist, or offensive behavior
• No unauthorized advertising or promotional activities
6. Data Protection (GDPR Compliance)
6.1 Personal data processing:
• Purpose: Event management and security
• Legal basis: Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
• Recipients: Necessary service providers and authorities
• Retention period: 3 years after event conclusion
6.2 Customer Rights:
• Access to personal data
• Rectification of incorrect data
• Erasure of personal data
• Data portability
• Lodge complaints with supervisory authorities
7. Media Rights and Recording
7.1 The Organizer holds exclusive media rights to the Event.
7.2 Customers consent to being filmed/photographed during the Event for broadcasting and promotional purposes.
7.3 Personal photography for non-commercial use is permitted.
8. Liability
8.1 The Organizer’s liability is limited to:
• Intentional misconduct and gross negligence
• Mandatory statutory liability
8.2 The Organizer is not liable for:
• Personal belongings
• Hearing damage from event noise
• Injuries from sports equipment (pucks, sticks, etc.)
• Damages caused at the event venue or partner hotels
9. Special Provisions for COVID-19
9.1 Compliance with current health regulations is mandatory.
9.2 The Organizer reserves the right to:
• Implement additional safety measures
• Modify tournament arrangements
• Require proof of vaccination/testing as per current regulations
10. Accessibility
10.1 Wheelchair accessible seating available (must be requested at time of purchase).
10.2 Special assistance requirements must be communicated at least 7 days before the event.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
11.1 These terms are governed by Austrian law.
11.2 Mandatory consumer protection laws of the Customer’s country of residence may apply.
11.3 For disputes with consumers within the EU, the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
12. Severability Clause
Should any provision of these GTC be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

Cancellation Policy
1. General Terms
1.1. This cancellation policy applies to all ticket purchases for the World Hockey Championships 2025 and is governed by European Union consumer protection laws, specifically Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.
1.2. All times referenced in this policy are in Central European Time (CET).
2. Cancellation Rights
2.1. Tournament packages purchased for the World Hockey Championships 2025 may be cancelled subject to the following conditions:
a) For cancellations received on or before February 15, 2025, 23:59 CET:
Full refund minus any processing fees
Processing fees are limited to the actual costs incurred.
b) For cancellations received after February 15, 2025, 00:00 CET:
100% cancellation fee applies, EXCEPT:
– When a WHC Cancellation Insurance has been purchased from our official registration homepage
– Cancellation insurance holders are eligible for a full refund regardless of cancellation date
3. Cancellation Procedure
3.1. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement sent by:

4. Refund Processing
4.1. Where applicable, refunds will be processed using the same means of payment as used for the initial transaction.
4.2. All eligible refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notice.
5. Exception Circumstances
5.1. In case of event cancellation by the organizer, full refunds will be issued regardless of the above deadlines.
5.2. Force majeure circumstances will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in accordance with applicable EU regulations.
