  • When and where will the WHC take place?
    The WHC will be held in Innsbruck, Austria in 2026.

    2015: May 6–9, 2026
    2011: May 9–12, 2026
  • What facilities are used for the tournament?
    The main venue is Olympia World, Innsbruck’s Olympic facility, featuring two rinks, announcers, music, and professional-level amenities.
  • Which teams are participating in the WHC?
    The preliminary list of participating teams can be found here.
  • Where can I find the full match schedule?
    The 2012–2015 tournaments kick off on Wednesday at 15:00 and wrap up by early Saturday afternoon. The 2011 tournament, meanwhile, starts on Saturday late afternoon and finishes on Tuesday afternoon. Detailed schedules will be released one month prior to each tournament.
  • Will the games be broadcast or streamed online?
    Yes! Games will be broadcast and streamed online. Details and streaming links will be shared on our website before the tournament begins.
  • How do teams and individuals apply?
    – Coaches can contact organizers to enter a team.
    – Individuals can apply online; coaches select from the applicant list.
    – Applications are accepted at any time, and players are placed on teams between January and March.
  • How do I book accommodation for the tournament?
    We offer all-inclusive tournament packages, available for booking through our official registration website, which opens in October. Prefer to arrange your own accommodation? No problem—all options and prices will be listed on the registration site as well.
  • Are there group rates or discounts for teams and fans?
    We are offering different prices for supporters (fans), team staff and players. All package options and the prices will be available online on our official registration website, which opens in October. Children born 2016 or later will receive a 50% discount on any supporter package.
  • Is there transportation provided between hotels and Olympiaworld?
    All our partner hotels are in walking distance to the Olympiaworld in Innsbruck.

    The General Terms and Conditions can be found here. During the booking process, you’ll also have the option to purchase WHC-specific insurance, which covers 100% of possible cancellations.
